Natural Healing

Cymatherapy Services

In a Cymatherapy appointment, you will receive specific sound healing codes to support your body’s natural ability to heal itself. These sounds are emitted by the AMI750 Cymatherapy machine and received into the feet through soft gel pads on the machine.

What is Cymatherapy?

The practice of Cymatherapy is derived from the field of Cymatic Therapy which was developed by Dr. Peter Guy Manners, a British osteopath, in the 1960s. His work grew out of early research into electromagnetic energy and the concept that every living thing—person, animal, or plant—is surrounded by an energy field that resonates at its own particular frequency.

Scientific investigations into the effects of sound on matter, the physics of acoustics, and the applications of sound on biological matter developed into the field of Cymatic Therapy. Cymatic therapy is a form of sound therapy based on the principle that every cell in the body resonates at its own particular sound frequency. Research has shown that there are hundreds of signature vibrations associated with healthy organs and tissues. When a cell or tissue is not at its optimal state of wellness and when there is illness and imbalance, the frequency is altered.

Cymatherapy is a type of complimentary alternative medicine, or natural healing method based on the effects of sound on the physical and energetic bodies, mind, and emotions. As a modern form of audible sound therapy it can be used to support the resolution of many health problems through the enhanced ability of your body to heal itself.

The practitioner uses the cymatic therapy instrument to generate frequencies like those of healthy cells to support what the cells are trying to do naturally, therefore aiding the healing process and helping to restore the body to good health and harmony.

About the AMI-750 Machine

Acoustic Meridian Intelligence is a non-invasive, acoustic massage therapy that supports the body’s efforts to restore the cells, tissues, and organs to optimal health, balance, and function. It is a unique, patented instrument that delivers precise combinations of frequencies associated with healthy tissue and organ systems. These sound waves help to normalize imbalances and synchronize the cell’s frequency back to its natural healthy state of vibrational resonance.

Sound healing codes used in the protocols for the AMI-750 were developed by a British osteopath and European researchers and have been widely and effectively used for years. Standard AMI protocols were developed by Chris Gibbs, BSc, DCM, and Liz Bauer, RN, DCM, both experts in the field of Cymatherapy. Additional protocols created by experienced Cymatherapy practitioners and protocols which have been adjusted to meet individual needs are also available.

Essential Oils

An essential oil is a concentrated liquid containing compounds from plants. Essential oils are also known as volatile or ethereal oils, or simply as the “oil of” the plant from which they were extracted, such as oil of clove. An oil is “essential” in that it carries the “essence” of the plant. Essential oils are generally extracted by distillation. Other processes include expression or solvent extraction.

Essential oils have numerous properties and effects which have various applications. They are used in perfumes, cosmetics, soap, and other products, for flavoring food and drink, and for scenting massage oil and lotion, and in incense and household cleaning products. They can be inhaled directly through a nebulizer or diffuser, released into the air by heat, or burned as an incense.

Essential oils have also been used extensively for their medicinal effects for many years all over the world. There are numerous references in the Bible that attest to their widespread use for healing at that time. Because of their potency and benefits, people were considered rich not just by their actual accrual of money and property, but of essential oils as well.

Many modern medicines are synthesized from the same sources as the essential oils; the main difference is that with essential oils you are getting the natural (and possibly organic, depending on the source), whole, concentrated product without additives and preservatives. This appears to explain why there are few negative side effects when used correctly.

Essential oils are used in a variety of ways including inhaling them, applying directly to the skin, taking orally, or diffusing them into a room. There are advantages to the different methods according to the effect you seek. It is wise to educate yourself prior to selecting and using the oils and to consult with an experienced aromatherapist as needed.

Reiki

Reiki is a simple, effective method of spiritual development and natural health promotion which originated in Japan. In a Reiki session, spiritual energy is made available to the client, promoting a feeling of calm, ease, and restored vitality. Similar to the “laying on of hands,” Reiki is passed to the recipient primarily through the hands and is based on the idea that the state of the essential life force energy in our bodies is revealed in positive health or illness.

Our energy has an optimum natural balance and flow, and we are at risk to develop illness when it is low or out of balance. Reiki restores the natural balance of the energy which animates the body, promotes healing on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, is natural, and complements other treatment methods.

The word Reiki is translated as “spiritual energy” and the benefits are seen as coming from God or the Divine, rather than from the practitioner. Although Reiki is not affiliated with any religion, it is a spiritual practice for the practitioner and encourages positive attitude, lifestyle, and practices, including meditation. The ability to share Reiki with others comes from receiving Reiju and through daily spiritual practice.

Mikao Usui developed and taught Reiki in the early 1900s in Japan. It was brought to the United States by Hawayo Takata, who studied with one of his later students, Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Many Reiki Masters in the United States were trained by someone who learned from Mrs. Takata or one of her students. Many of them teach a mix of new age techniques, concepts from Indian practices such as the chakras, and information from Hayashi and Takata-style Reiki. Over time, more Reiki masters are learning and utilizing the original Japanese healing techniques taught by Usui and are still practiced in Japan. Dylan strives to give Reiki trainings that are well grounded in traditional Usui Reiki practices and to clarify the different styles of Western practices in use in the U.S. today.

What You Can Expect From Your Reiki Session

Clients remains fully clothed as they relax onto a treatment table or sit in a chair while their practitioner directs the energy into areas where it is needed. Recipients usually feel very relaxed, fall asleep, or move into a deeply meditative state. Although we cannot say with certainty how Reiki works, the results as reported by many people who have received it have been quite remarkable.
